Accessibility statement
Sismotech Venezuela aims to make this site usable by as many people as possible, including those who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader or system accessibility settings.
Initial version
This statement describes the current state of the site and will be updated when external audits are carried out.
Target level
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Measures applied
Among other measures, the site includes:
- A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation and visible focus.
- Semantic structure with landmarks and heading hierarchy.
- Mobile menu with focus management, the aria-expanded attribute and closing with the Escape key.
- Verified colour contrast and states that do not rely on colour alone.
- Descriptive alternative text on images carrying information.
- Tables with a caption, associated headers and a readable mobile alternative.
- Forms with visible labels, instructions, a focusable error summary and accessible confirmation.
- Respect for the system preference to reduce motion.
Known limitations
The site has not yet been audited by an external accessibility laboratory. The verifications carried out are internal.
