Strategic partnership: Sismotech and Xancura
Local Venezuelan engineering and specialised seismic technology in a single chain of responsibility.
Local responsibility
Sismotech Venezuela
Sismotech is the technical counterpart in Venezuela for site assessment, alert device installation and response integration. Operational responsibilities and coverage are documented for each project.
-
Engineering
Site survey and selection of alert devices and integrations based on how the facility operates.
-
Installation
Device mounting, cabling, electrical integration and commissioning.
-
Alert simulations
Verification of the automation chain and personnel response.
-
Maintenance and support
Preventive plan, drills and local technical assistance.
Technology
Xancura
Xancura contributes the algorithms that process data from a distributed seismic monitoring network, together with sensors and alert devices. The platform estimates intensity and arrival time for each location; tsunami warning scope requires specific validation.
Exact sensor, algorithm and telemetry specifications are published only once written manufacturer documentation exists.
-
Algorithms
Processing of network records to estimate the effects of the event at each location.
-
Monitoring sensors
Distributed stations that supply records to the processing platform.
-
Alert devices
Receipt of warnings for people and integration of automatic actions according to configuration.
Transmission
A private distributed monitoring network
The design proposes stations strategically distributed nationwide, data processing on the Xancura platform and transmission of site-specific alerts through redundant channels.
Deployed coverage, links, encryption and availability must be confirmed in documentation for each offer. Nationwide scope describes the proposed design, not verified operational coverage.
Assess your site
A technical audit defines installation points, integrations and scope.
