Terms and conditions
These terms cover browsing this website and submitting commercial enquiries. Purchasing equipment or services requires specific conditions.
Revised September 22, 2026
Document under review. This version requires Venezuelan legal review before final publication.
1. Identity and contact
The website uses the name Sismotech Venezuela. Its operator is Grupo Empresarial Arrecife, C.A., RIF J-40137673-8, with address at Avenida 4 de Mayo, Centro Ejecutivo 4 de Mayo, piso 1, oficina 1, Porlamar, Nueva Esparta state, Venezuela.
For enquiries, corrections or complaints: info@sismotechvenezuela.com. WhatsApp: +58 424 858 7404.
2. Website scope
The website presents early warning, automation and support solutions, and allows visitors to request an assessment or quotation. It does not provide online purchases, payments or automatic service activation.
This website is not a channel for live seismic monitoring or emergency assistance. In an emergency, follow your facility’s procedures and the instructions of the competent authorities.
3. Enquiries and contracting
The form allows you to submit a contact request. Submission or automated confirmation does not amount to accepting a quotation, reserving equipment or purchasing an audit. Merely submitting the form does not create a charge.
The scope and terms of paid work or services must be communicated and accepted beforehand. Any eventual contract may be documented through legally valid means, including electronic means where applicable.
4. Project-specific conditions
The proposal must identify the supplier and specify equipment, functions, site requirements, coverage, installation, acceptance testing, support and maintenance. It must also state price, currency, applicable taxes, payments, timeframes, offer validity, warranties and cancellation terms.
Enforceable performance and commitments are determined by the information offered, the terms validly agreed and the law. These general terms do not override customer rights or the supplier’s legal or contractual obligations.
5. Technical information and illustrations
Warning time depends on the event, location and configuration. Advance notice for every event and the absence of damage are not guaranteed. Systems complement emergency plans and require appropriate installation, testing and maintenance.
Images labelled as illustrative and animations do not prove completed installations, coverage, latency, certifications or the final appearance of equipment. The monitoring and alert sequence illustrates earthquakes; it does not itself establish tsunami detection. See also the Technical and warning disclaimer.
6. Website use and content
Use contact channels in good faith and provide only information you are entitled to share. Impersonation, malicious code, unauthorised access to non-public systems and deliberate interference with the service are prohibited.
Trademarks and content retain the rights of their respective holders. Their presence on this website does not grant an exploitation licence or by itself establish registered ownership, exclusivity or representation. Reuse requires permission where required by law, without prejudice to legally permitted uses.
7. Privacy and external services
The form requests authorisation to handle the enquiry under the Privacy policy; this is not agreement to a purchase or an advertising subscription. The Cookie policy describes storage in this version.
When you open WhatsApp or another external service, its own terms also apply. Do not submit passwords, banking details or sensitive documents through the form.
8. Availability and liability
The website may be interrupted for maintenance or technical incidents. Its availability does not define the service level of an installed system, which must be documented for each project.
No clause excludes legally enforceable liability for breach or damage attributable to the supplier, or waives consumer rights. The technical limitations described do not constitute a general release from liability.
9. Enquiries and complaints
You can send a complaint to info@sismotechvenezuela.com, stating the reason and a request or project reference if available. Include only the information necessary to address it.
This channel does not replace or condition access to competent authorities or courts, or by itself suspend legal deadlines.
10. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, without displacing applicable mandatory rules. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the authorities and courts competent under the law.
There is no compulsory arbitration or waiver of a legally protected forum. If a provision is inapplicable, the remaining provisions retain effect insofar as legally possible.
11. Updates and languages
Changes will carry a new revision date. They will not retroactively change existing contracts or remove acquired rights.
The English version assists readers. Report any differences from the Spanish text for clarification; the translation does not reduce rights or change a valid agreement.
