Technical and warning disclaimer
Early warning complements risk management. This document explains technical limitations and does not remove legal or contractual responsibilities.
Revised September 22, 2026
Document under legal and technical review. Manufacturer specifications and the scope of each integration require documentary validation; this is not certification of equipment or installations.
Not prediction or emergency assistance
Earthquake warning starts from signals of an event that has already begun; it does not predict when an earthquake will occur. This website and its commercial channels do not provide real-time monitoring or emergency dispatch.
Equipment does not replace structural assessment, evacuation plans, training or instructions from competent authorities.
Warning time and detection limits
Available time depends on distance, propagation, sensor placement, communication and processing. Close to the source or in unfavourable conditions, a warning may arrive with strong shaking or afterwards.
Alerts without a dangerous event, undetected events and late warnings may occur. Advance notice in every case and the prevention of injury, damage or loss are not guaranteed.
Earthquakes and tsunamis require different scopes
The monitoring and alert sequence shown on the site explains a seismic process. It does not by itself demonstrate tsunami detection capability or coastal coverage.
Any tsunami warning scope must identify the information sources, sensors or integrations, area served and protocol actually contracted and validated. Follow official evacuation instructions without waiting for a warning from this website.
Estimates and illustrations
Initial intensity and arrival-time estimates may be updated and differ from observations or later assessments by the competent authorities.
Scenes, diagrams and animations labelled as illustrative are not live records, performance tests or evidence of completed installations. Their pace does not represent system latency or seconds of warning time.
Integration and operation
Actions involving relays, PLCs, SCADA, valves, doors or lifts require process assessment, compatibility and authorisation from those responsible for the facility. Failure scenarios, acceptance tests and operating procedures must be defined.
The roles of supplier, integrators and operator must be documented. This allocation does not transfer the supplier’s legal obligations or attributable liabilities to the customer.
Availability and maintenance
Power, the external UPS, links, sensor condition and environmental factors can affect operation. Continuity has limits that must be documented for each project.
Commissioning, alert simulations, personnel training and maintenance must follow the agreed plan and applicable instructions. Availability and response times must be documented for each configuration without limiting enforceable commitments arising from the information provided, the contract and the law.
Capabilities and responsibilities
Advertised capabilities require technical substantiation from the manufacturer and verification for the configuration offered. The proposal must specify requirements, limits, maintenance and service conditions.
No warning in this document permits misleading information or excludes user rights, statutory warranties or enforceable liability for breach or attributable damage. Documentary review of specifications and the agreement with Xancura remains pending.
